Disney is Magic

Disney is inspiring.

Disney is motivating.

Disney is magic.

The truth is, Disney is so many things. I just got back from a quick two-and-a-half-day trip....short, but let’s be real, no matter how many days you spend in Disney, it never feels like enough. At the same time, it’s incredible what just a little bit of Pixie Dust can do.

There’s a calm and joy I feel on Disney property that’s unlike anywhere else. I’m able to take things in differently, in a way that doesn’t always happen in the normal day to day. I get to feel nostalgic about my childhood trips while watching my own kids fall in love with Disney just as we did. I get to reflect on how my love of Disney led me to work at EPCOT, which ultimately led me to meeting my husband. I think about how the podcast has deepened my appreciation for the parks, how it connected me to an amazing community of people who share the same love, and how it’s given us the chance to meet up with so many of them in real life.

Disney makes me believe in magic. It pushes me to be creative, to travel, to experience life in this incredible bubble. Seeing my kids light up as they walk into the parks, hearing them laugh as we spin on Alien Swirling Saucers, watching their eyes widen in awe as we soar over different parts of the world; that’s what it’s all about.

I will forever be grateful to Mama and Papa Dillo for introducing us to Disney, a place that has shaped so much of my life in the most magical way possible.
