Gratitude for 2025 and Beyond!

So I made one of those 2025 recap videos. You know the ones: "And with that, the 2025 season comes to an end...Good Night."

At the time of writing this blog, I haven't released it just yet to the social media world.

Videos like this make me emotional. They're a great way to look back on the past year and a reminder of moments big and small that we were able to experience because of this podcast. 2025 brought new friends, new podcast guests and time spent with the community we've built throughout the years.

Sometimes I can't believe this is my life. Being able to talk to Imagineers, Cast Members, and others that know and love Disney the way we do is so special. Over the years we've been able to connect with people we have admired, have been fans of and it's completely mind boggling.

This year we also had to say goodbye to things we love in Disney like Muppet*Vision 3-D and Jellyrolls. Being able to have one more viewing of Muppet*Vision and one more night at Jellyrolls are things I do not take for granted. As we mentioned on a Theme Park Thursday episode, Jellyrolls holds nostalgia for us in our adult life and to have Scotty call our names out during our last visit to Jellyrolls is a pinch me moment.

If I could just end a lot of these paragraphs with the mind-blown emoji, I would.

In November, we had our 3rd annual Dillo's Diz Meetup. These meetups have meant so much to us as we spend time with friends and a community that just "gets it" when it comes to all things Disney. We appreciate them taking time to travel as a group and make memories. And to those we haven't met yet, we can't wait for the day we do!

2025 was a great year and I can't wait to see what 2026 brings.
