I admit it. I have slacked on the blogging. We did WDW over New Year’s. My wife was in a boot. I had to push her around in a wheelchair. This should have made for epic blogging.
No blogs.
It’s worse than that. Last summer, I visited my first Disney park outside of Orlando, Florida – don’t get me started on how I have never been to Disneyland (or how I’ve never been to California for that matter). We spent a day in Disneyland Paris. This should have made for epic blogging.
No blogs.
That changes… Right now!
The first step in planning a trip to Disneyland Paris is… to convince your wife to go to Disneyland Paris when you’re visiting Paris for the first time in your lives. You try to convince her by flashing your Disney Visa Rewards points around like they’re jewelry.
They’re not jewelry.
And you can’t use your Disney Visa Rewards points in Disneyland Paris, so let me save you the time and trouble that I went through.
Did you ever have that dream where you are visiting a Disney theme park, but something is just oft-kilter? This just can’t be me who has these dreams, right? For example, you could be dreaming that you’re in EPCOT but then there’s an entrance to an airport terminal? Or you’re in the Magic Kingdom and they’re driving a Zamboni down Main Street?
No?
…No? In this dream, you’re in central Paris, take a train for 40 minutes on the RER A, exit the railway station of Marne-le-Valle – Chessy, and find yourself in the middle of Disneyland Park, the Walt Disney Studios, and the Disney Village.
Except the dream is very real.
Over the course of the next week, we’ll examine my one day exploration of The Diz – Paris, and the attractions, shops, and restaurants contained within.
